I build businesses that are designed to make money — not ones that only make money if everything goes right. That single distinction has shaped a 25-year path across two continents and four very different industries.
I spent 15+ years in the United States turning credit risk into software — starting as an engineer at eCredit and rising to Director of Software Services at Cortera, where I helped Fortune 500 lenders decide who to trust with money. Along the way I built "follow-the-sun" delivery teams in India that held onto 85%+ of their clients — years before it was fashionable to call them capability centres.
In 2016 I moved home to Hyderabad and started over as a founder. Today I run a deliberately uncorrelated portfolio: an instant B2B credit-rating platform that underwrites India's "invisible" MSMEs on public and alternative data; Follow The Tail, a science-backed D2C pet-nutrition brand; Karuna Wellness, a physiotherapy and rehabilitation practice serving 300+ patients a month; and Strategic Insight Advisors, where I help mid-market firms turn data and risk into margin. I'm also a qualified Independent Director.
Four industries, one discipline: read the unit economics, earn the customer's trust, and make sure the margin is structural rather than lucky. I write here about credit and risk, fintech, product and governance — the lessons most operators only learn the expensive way.
